Gifted & Talented at SPARK
As outlined in the Georgia Gifted Manual, SPARK has created a Gifted Service Plan where all students who have been identified as gifted are pulled out once a week for a full day to receive their gifted services. This model is referred to as the resource model. In addition to the resource model, SPARK encourages all teachers to work towards receiving their gifted endorsement. Currently, SPARK has over 60% of teachers with a gifted endorsement. This means that students who are in the gifted program as well as students who are not in the gifted program may have teachers who are gifted endorsed.
